CHRISTINA ALICIA BERARDINELLI, age 62, beloved daughter of the late Robert A. and Ursula J. (neé Kohls) Berardinelli; loving sister of Raf R. (Roxanne) Berardinelli, and the late Pamela (Trevor) Garrud; dearest aunt to Rina Berardinelli; and dear friend of many.
Christina was born on November 11, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio. She earned her nursing degree and Registered Nurse license from Ursuline College before continuing her education at John Carroll University, where she received her master's degree in counseling. Combining both professions, she dedicated her career to supporting individuals facing mental health and behavioral challenges. She worked as a nurse at Crossroads, caring for children with behavioral needs, and later at Signature Health, where she continued her passion for helping others. Through counseling groups and one-on-one support, she touched countless lives with her kindness, empathy, and unwavering belief that everyone deserved compassion and understanding.
Outside of her career, she found joy in life's simple pleasures and the company of those she loved. She especially enjoyed traveling to many different places, with some of her favorite memories made while traveling alongside her parents. She loved discovering new restaurants and was always happy to share her thoughtful critiques of every meal. She treasured her friendships in the hearts card group, where laughter was shared each month. She will be remembered as a funny, opinionated, loving, and deeply caring woman whose compassion often moved her to tears. Even after leaving the workforce, her generous spirit and warm presence continued to bless everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched with her kindness, her dedication to helping others, and the love she freely gave to family, friends, colleagues, and those she cared for throughout her life.
