Darko Brozovic

DARKO BROZOVIC aged 82 years, beloved husband of Katica (nee Luter); loving father of Nick, cherished son of the late Maryan and Maria (nee Kovacevic).

Darko was born on January 23, 1944, in Croatia, where he grew up and earned his master's degree in mechanical engineering. He played solo guitar in the 60's for the Atomi Band, the first Croatian rock band. A true craftsman and music lover, he was as comfortable fixing cars as he was listening to everything from classic rock to country and opera. He always held a deep love for his roots, and when he was able, frequently returned to Croatia to reconnect with loved ones. Yet, nothing brought him more happiness than becoming a father to his son, Nick. Remembered for his intelligence, warmth, and generous heart, Darko leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at the funeral home, followed by burial at All Souls Cemetery. The family will receive friends at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME, 28890 CHARDON RD., WILLOUGHBY HILLS (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91), on TUESDAY, SEPT. 8, FROM 3-6 PM.
