Deborah "Debbie" Mayer

DEBORAH “DEBBIE” MAYER (nee DiCillo), age 70, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on October 23, 2026; devoted mother of Nicholas Mayer (wife Britney); adoring grandmother of Camden; beloved daughter of the late Helen Mae (nee Tatomier) and Michael “O-Boy” DiCillo; loving sister of Thomas (wife Teresa), David (wife Janet), and Michael (wife LuAnn); dear aunt, great-aunt, and friend of many; former wife and longtime friend of Rick Mayer. Survived by her canine companion, Chase.

Debbie was born June 16, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio and would graduate from Brush High School in 1974. She worked for many years as an account manager at the FM Global Insurance company. Debbie was a hard worker and straight shooter. Her firecracker personality and resilient spirit made her a force to be reckoned with. Debbie was creative; she enjoyed collecting art, painting, and jewelry. She also liked listening to Carlos Santana as she worked up a sweat playing pickleball and working out. She had a great sense of humor and loved to tease and socialize with friends. Above all else, Debbie loved spending time with family and her dog, Chase. Debbie is remembered for her compassion, thoughtfulness, and caring heart.

Celebration of Life Friday, October 30, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the FUNERAL HOME. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Debbie at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND, 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) FRIDAY 3 – 7 PM.
