Dolores M. Cangelosi

DOLORES M. CANGELOSI (nee Sgro) age 87, beloved wife of the late Louis; loving mother of Jerome (wife Susan), Charles (wife Robin) and Louis (wife Pamela); devoted grandmother of Louis, Marissa Santora (husband Ethan) Kay-Lee, Charles (fiancée Sierra Fields), Robert (wife Hannah) and Antonia Maxwell (husband Zachary) and great-grandmother of Adalyn and Benjamin; cherished daughter of the late Charles and Lucille Sgro (nee Caputo); dearest sister of Darlene Corsillo (husband Andrew) and sister-in-law of Virginia and Russell Folisi, Timothy and the late Katena Dorsey and Anthony and Mary Cangelosi; dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Dodi was the true matriarch of her family, and was devoted to her three sons and grandchildren, who lit up her entire world. She leaves a legacy of unconditional love that will bridge generations.

Prayers of Christian Burial Thursday, August 27, 2026 at THE FUNERAL HOME at 12 Noon. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Dolores at DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY MORNING 10AM-12PM.
