Dorothy M. Sedlak

(nee Bork), born Jan. 16, 1928, and passed away Sept. 21, 2026, aged 98 years, C.E.O. of Sedlak Interiors in Solon, dearly beloved wife for 64 years to the late John P., loving mother of Jeff (wife Anita), Jan, Judy Schumacher, Jack, and June Mooney (husband Bill), cherished grandmother of Charles, Ben (Adrienne) and Carrie (Rashauna) Sedlak, John (Annie), Jennifer, Christopher (deceased), Megan, Molly and Mikey Schumacher, Sarah Brougher (Austin) and Laura McKee (Charles) treasured great-grandmother of 8, devoted daughter of the late Frank and Marcia (nee Kubera) Bork, dear sister of the late Fran Passalaqua and Marsha Oswienski, fond aunt and great-aunt to many.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026, at Gesu Catholic Church, 2470 Miramar Blvd., University Heights (44118) at 10:30 AM.

Entombment following in All Saints Cemetery. 

Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Dorothy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) WEDNESDAY, September 30, 2026, from 3-7 PM.
