Eileen Heacock

EILEEN J. HEACOCK age 96, beloved wife of the late Carl W.; loving mother of Debbi Breeden and the late Terri Weintraub (husband Daniel); devoted grandmother of Andrew, Ryan and Chad (wife Kate) Breeden and great-grandmother of Victoria and Maia; cherished daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (nee Codding) Rande; dearest sister of the late Patricia Dombus and Margaret Szabo; survived by her grand dog Rusty.

Eileen, born in Cleveland on June 24, 1930, was a proud graduate of Orange High School's Class of 1948. A dedicated dog lover, she owned and enjoyed many throughout her life including foster dogs. Her sense of humor and easygoing nature brought joy to those around her. Whether sewing, reading, bird watching, or just enjoying nature, she lived a rich life in simple pleasures. She also worked at Daisy Hill Greenhouse, owned by her daughter Terri and son-in-law Dan, where she was able to indulge her love of plants. Watching her grandsons play sports, especially football, was one of her favorite activities. No matter where they were playing, she was known for arriving before the team did. Deeply devoted to her faith and family, her kind and spiritual nature touched everyone she knew, and she will be deeply missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Eileen to Rescue Village. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, September 18 at 1PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery.
