Geraldine C. O'Neill

Geraldine was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 8, 1940, to Irish immigrants, John O'Neill and Catherine (McCarthy) O'Neill. She graduated from Ursuline College in 1962 and completed her MS in Heath Services Education from Case Western Reserve University in 1984. She then went on to obtain her MBA with a specialty in Executive Management from Baldwin Wallace College in 1989. She died on Saturday, June 22, 2026.

Ger had a long career as a Cytologist for University Hospitals Cleveland, The Cleveland Clinic and Quest Diagnostics. She was proud to receive the Cytotechnologist of the Year Award from the American Society of Cytopathology in 1988.

She moved to Judson Manor in Cleveland in 2013 and transferred to Judson Park Heath Center, Memory Care, in 2022.

She was predeceased by her half-brothers: Donald J. Gillespie and Timothy J. O'Neill.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 26, 2026 at 10:00AM at Ss. Robert & William Catholic Church, 367 E. 260th St, Euclid. Family will receive friends AT THE CHURCH from 9:00-10:00AM.
