JACQUELINE J. HANKS (nee Omersa) age 90, beloved wife of the late Dellum; loving mother of Nancy Agh (husband Frank), Shari Merriman and Robin VanBurik; devoted grandmother of Rachel and Michael Merriman and Theresa and Kathryn VanBurik; cherished daughter of the late Jack and Jennie (nee Zupancic) Omersa; dearest sister of the late James Omersa (wife Linda); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Jackie was the heart of her family. As a devoted homemaker, she found the greatest joy in creating a warm and welcoming home where love, laughter, and cherished memories flourished. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to those she loved left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Above all else, Jackie treasured her daughters and grandchildren. She was a loving and devoted mother who celebrated every milestone, offered comfort during difficult times, and gave unconditional love without hesitation. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she loved spending time with them.

Jackie leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and heritage - a life richly blessed by God’s grace and proudly grounded in the enduring traditions of her Slovenian roots.

Family and friends are requested for meet for Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday July 29, 2026 at St. Vitus Catholic Church, 6019 Lausche Avenue, Cleveland at 10AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jacqueline at ZEVNIK-COSIC FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY 4-8PM.
