Joe Marion Cluts, Sr.

JOE MARION CLUTS, SR. age 77, beloved husband of the late Mary Kay (nee Kilby); loving father of Daphne (Thomas Thornburg IV) and Joe Jr.; cherished son of the late Virgil and Dorothy May (nee Keoppel); dearest brother of Patricia Winkelmann (husband Fred), the late Roy (wife Bonnie) and the late Vicki Fitts; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

Joe was born in East Cleveland on June 1, 1945 and passed away on December 17, 2022. He was a lifetime resident of Geauga County where he served as President of the Geauga County Beekeepers Association in the 1980’s. He volunteered at the Geauga Park District and the Holden Arboretum. Joe was an avid hiker and had even walked the Appalachian Trail. His passion was vegetable gardening, especially growing heirloom tomatoes. Joe worked as an environmental chemist during his career. Joe will be missed by many.
