JOHN F. "JACK" HAAS, Sr., age 84, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. A man of great faith, Jack lived his life devoted to God and to the family he loved so deeply. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Daryl "Teddy" Haas (née Wolfram), and his children, Ann Page (Vern), Katie Rothman, John F. Haas Jr., Elizabeth Suter (Stefan), Margaret Roney (Trip), Thomas Haas, and Rebecca Haas. He was preceded in death by his beloved children, Samantha Haas and Peter J. Haas Sr. (Colleen). He was the proud and loving grandfather of 24 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, who brought him tremendous joy and were an enduring source of pride throughout his life.
Jack was a lifelong entrepreneur whose vision, determination, and extraordinary work ethic were instrumental in building Sensical Inc. More than a business, it became part of his legacy, a company built alongside family and carried forward by the generations that will follow.
From the time he was a young boy, Jack had a lifelong love of the water and boating. Some of his happiest moments were spent on the water, surrounded by family and friends. Boating was more than a pastime for Jack; it was a passion that carried throughout his life and one he joyfully shared.
