STEPHANIE ZUPANCIC (nee Komac), age 93, beloved wife for 64 years of the late Anton; loving godmother of Adriana Pust, Cindy Nicholas, Daniel Gordish, Meta Bizjak, Nick Petek, Judy Osborn, Julie Petek, and Brian Laginja; cherished daughter of the late Alois and Stephania (nee Bizjak) Komac and sister-in-law of August Pust, Frank Petek, Olga Petek, Jozef Selan, and the late Gloria Pust and Rosalie Selan; dearest cousin of Marinka Pfajfar; dear aunt of Michelle Sikora, Barb Nemeckay, and Chris Selan. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Kelli's Senior Connection LLC, Cassie Cares LLC, and Cleveland Clinic Hospice for their care and support.

Stephanie was born May 23, 1932, in her home country, Slovenia. She would later make her home within the United States, designed by she and her beloved husband themselves. Stephanie worked for some time as a bookkeeper and then worked as a fashion buyer. She was a regular parishioner of Divine Word Catholic Church. Stephanie found great enjoyment in cooking, baking, and gardening outside. She and her husband shared a deep love of travel, exploring the world together and bringing home stories and experiences that enriched the lives of those around them. She especially cherished speaking about her homeland, Slovenia, and found great joy in teaching others about its culture, traditions, and history through her stories and conversations. She is remembered for her strong will, passion, and generous spirit.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Interment following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Stephanie at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS COMMUNITY ROOM, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91), SATURDAY MORNING, from 9 - 10 AM.
