SUSAN G. KLAUSNER (nee Steiner) age 84, beloved wife for 54 years of David "Dave"; loving mother of David F. (wife Brittany) and Brian A. (wife Lucia); devoted grandmother of Liam; cherished daughter of the late Emil M.D. and Grayce (nee O'Neill) Steiner; dearest sister of Sharon Markstrom and the late Paul Steiner (wife Cindy) and Sally Kreiner (husband Fred, dec); dear sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt of many.
Susan was born on December 18, 1941 in Lexington, Kentucky. She lived a life defined by compassion, faith, and devotion to others. Susan was raised in Cleveland Heights, where she attended Beaumont High School, graduating in 1959. She worked as an X-ray technician at St. Alexis Hospital before later embracing her role as a homemaker.
A faithful member of her church community, Susan's warm heart and welcoming spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a special love for animals and enjoyed decorating, taking pride in creating beautiful and inviting spaces for family and friends.
Susan will be remembered as a social, fun-loving, and friendly woman whose caring and loving nature made others feel valued and appreciated. Her kindness, great sense of humor, generosity, and genuine concern for others touched countless lives and created lasting memories.
Above all, Susan cherished her family and friends. The love she shared and the joy she brought to those around her will be remembered for years to come. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Mass of Christian Burial Monday, June 15, 2026 at Communion of Saints, St. Ann Catholic Church, 2175 Coventry Rd, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118 at 10:30AM. Private burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Susan at THE CHURCH MONDAY MORNING 9:30-10:30AM.
