Tom "Tommy" Stropki

TOM "TOMMY" STROPKI age 74, cherished son of the late Michael T. and Edith (nee Hagara) Stropki; loving brother of Michael T. (wife Karen), Dennis L., Leslie R. (wife Joyce), Sharon Morin (Mike P.), John (wife Lisa), Marie Nichols (husband Scott) and the late Renee Stropki, MD.; father-like-figure of Samantha Brennan; dear uncle, great uncle, and friend of many.

Tommy was born October 23, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio where he graduated from Brush High School in 1969. He went on to operate his own brick laying business for many years. Tommy was a Browns fan and enjoyed attending concerts, especially rock and roll. He loved to travel, especially through South America, and backpacking across Europe. Tommy was hardworking and brave; he never let his double amputation bring him down. Tommy is remembered for his kindness to all, loyalty to friends, and unyielding courage.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Tommy may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 2174.

Cremation by DeJohn Funeral Home and Crematory. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 21, 2026, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 1545 S Green Rd, South Euclid, OH 44121, at 10 AM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Tommy at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) THURSDAY 4 - 8 PM.
