Vincent R. Crawford, age 81, passed away at home on June 17, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Cleveland, Vince formed many lifelong friends while attending grade school at St. Ann School. At age seventeen Vince left high school working to help provide support for his mom and siblings. A successful self-made man, Vince proudly worked hard for 45 years, building several companies of which Ohio Disposal he was most proud of. His hard work and determination allowed him to retire in 1997. Vince enjoyed playing tennis, gardening and caring for his lawn or what he referred to as his park. Elvis and Neil Diamond were among his favorite musicians. He owned a 2000 Mercedes SEL500 which gave him great pride. Above everything else though, spending time with his grandchildren provided him the greatest joy. He saved his most passionate fandom for his grandchildren's sporting events.

Vince was preceded in death by his parents James and Catherine (Russell), and brothers James Eugene (wife Linda deceased), and William Russell (wife Denise). He was beloved husband for 62 years of Kathleen (née Callahan); loving father of Colleen Crawford (husband Dan Barnett) and Vince (wife Beth); devoted grandfather of Christa Crawford, Matthew Crawford, Michael Picciuto (wife Cassie Carlo), Kevin Crawford (wife Nicole), and Connor Crawford (wife Judy); great-grandfather of Mason, Tommy, and Manni Picciuto, and Kobie Crawford; brother of Mary Riedel (husband John), Margaret Ashcraft (husband Bill) and Jerry Crawford (wife Nancy); brother-in-law of Sharon (deceased), Jane Kehn and Denise Crawford, dear friend, Grandpa, Papa to his bonus grandchildren, James, Wayatt, Nick, Marisa, Gillian, and uncle of many.
